Section 5-5-110 - Business presented by chair

(a) All business for the action of the county legislative body shall be presented to the chair, who shall announce the same to the county legislative body and take the vote thereon.(b) No business shall be acted on by the body unless presented as required in subsection (a), except by the consent of a majority of the members present.Code 1858, § 4188 (deriv.
