Section 50-1-308 - Payroll deductions for health insurance premiums

Notwithstanding any other law, any employer, including, but not limited to, state and local government employers, that offers health insurance regulated under title 56 to its employees, may provide a payroll deduction for the employee portion of the health insurance premiums on the request of any employee who participates in the health insurance program.Acts 2006, ch. 590, § 1.
