Section 50-2-206 - Penalty

Any employer who violates this part, or who discharges or in any other manner discriminates against any employee because the employee has made a complaint to that employee's employer, the commissioner, or any other person, or instituted or caused to be instituted any proceedings under or related to this part, or has testified or is about to testify in any such proceeding, commits a Class A misdemeanor.Acts 1974, ch. 757, § 6; T.C.A., § 50-325; Acts 1989, ch. 591, § 111.
