Section 50-3-504 - Disclosure of trade secrets or privileged information

A representative of the commissioner of labor and workforce development who publishes, divulges, discloses, or makes known in any manner or to any extent not authorized by law any information coming to the representative in the course of the representative's employment or official duties or by reason of any examination or investigation made by, or return, report, or record made to or filed with the representative, which information contains or might reveal a trade secret or is otherwise privileged, commits a Class A misdemeanor.Acts 1974, ch. 585, § 36; 1977, ch. 111, § 24; T.C.A., § 50-543; Acts 1989, ch. 591, § 1; 1999, ch. 520, § 41.
