(a) Upon receipt of an application for an order granting a variance, the commissioner may issue an interim order granting the variance for the purpose of permitting time for an orderly consideration of the application.(b) No interim order may be effective for longer than one hundred eighty (180) days.Acts 1972, ch. 561, § 13; 1974, ch. 585, § 37; 1977, ch. 111, § 30; T.C.A., § 50-551.
