In the event that an employee or official of the department of labor and workforce development authorized to conduct inspections is denied permission to make that inspection, and a warrant is required by the constitution of the United States or the state of Tennessee, the employee or official may obtain an administrative inspection warrant in accordance with the procedures outlined in this chapter. Section 39-16-402 and title 40, chapter 6, part 1, do not apply to warrants issued pursuant to this chapter.Acts 1979, ch. 345, § 2; T.C.A., § 50-601; Acts 1996, ch. 675, § 50; 1999, ch. 520, § 41.
