Section 50-6-213 - Epileptics - Election not to be covered by certain provisions - Revocation

(a) Epileptics may elect not to be subject to this part for injuries resulting because of epilepsy and still remain subject to its provisions for all other injuries.(b) This election shall be made by giving notice to the employer in writing on a form to be furnished by the bureau of workers' compensation and filing a copy of the notice with the bureau.(c) An election may be revoked by giving written notice to the employer of revocation, and the revocation shall be effective upon filing copy of the notice with the bureau.Acts 1977, ch. 223, § 1; impl. am.
