(a) While acting in good faith, the directors of a not-for-profit corporation that provides community residential services or supports for persons with an intellectual or developmental disability are not held personally liable for tortious acts committed by the corporation's persons supported.(b) Subsection (a) does not preclude imposition of personal liability on a director who also acts as a paid officer or employee of the corporation.Added by 2024 Tenn.
