Section 52-5-406 - Custody of defendant by the commissioner

A judicially committed defendant does not come into the custody of the commissioner until the commissioner determines that the state has an available suitable accommodation and designates a licensed facility to admit the defendant.Added by 2024 Tenn. Acts, ch. 688,s 2, eff. 7/1/2024.
