The general purposes of this part are to provide a comprehensive and coordinated service system for the state's aging population, giving high priority to those persons in greatest need, to conduct studies and research into the needs and problems of the aging, and to provide a system of home- and community-based long-term care services that is responsive to the needs of all Tennesseans regardless of age, disability, or economic status.Added by 2024 Tenn.
