(a) For the purpose of this part, 'legend drugs' means any item that federal law prohibits dispensing without a prescription from a licensed doctor, dentist, optometrist or veterinarian.(b) This definition of legend drugs shall not be construed to include blood and blood fractions.Acts 1939, ch. 164, § 1; C.
