Notwithstanding this chapter to the contrary, children eighteen (18) years of age or younger do not need a license or permit to sell bakery goods, homemade or otherwise, soft drinks, or other similar food commodities at public events. Acts 2013, ch. 182, § 21; T.C.A., § 53-8-221.
