Section 54-1-132 - Criminal history background checks for applicants - Authorization

The commissioner is authorized to seek criminal history background checks pursuant to § 38-6-109 for applicants for the job classes of highway response operator 1 and 2 and highway response supervisor 1 and 2. The commissioner is further authorized to require the applicants to provide fingerprint samples to the Tennessee bureau of investigation and the federal bureau of investigation for the purpose of conducting a criminal history background check.Acts 2002, ch. 739, § 1.
