Section 54-11-225 - Repairs of bridges by county legislative bodies - Commissioners to make contracts

The county legislative body has full power, at any session of the county legislative body, when, in its opinion, the public good demands it, to appoint commissioners, who shall have power to contract for, and have completed, any repairs of bridges, levees or causeways, upon any public road in the county that, in the opinion of the county legislative body, the public good requires.Acts 1859-1860, ch. 90, § 1; Shan., § 1738; mod.
