Section 54-12-307 - Publication of notice of letting work of construction or improvement

(a) Before entering into any contract for improvements, the board of directors of the improvement district shall cause notice to be given once a week for four (4) consecutive weeks in some newspaper published in the county in which the improvement is located, and additional publication elsewhere as the board may direct at the time and place of letting the work of construction of the improvement.(b) In the notice, the board shall specify the approximate amount of work to be done in each section, and the time fixed for the commencement and completion of the work.Acts 1919, ch. 193, § 73; Shan.
