Section 54-7-106 - Salary of chief administrative officer

(a) In the event two (2) or more chief administrative officers are duly elected or appointed with equal duties, the compensation provided in this section shall be divided equally between them.(b) The county legislative body of each county may at any time increase or decrease the salary of the chief administrative officer of the county highway department so long as the salary is maintained as specified in § 8-24-102.Acts 1974, ch. 738, § 5; impl. am.
