Section 54-9-131 - Engineers - Employment - Duties

(a) The commissioners shall employ a competent engineer, and, if need be, assistant engineers.(b) The engineers shall be employed to lay out the work on the roads provided for, making estimates on the roads and work done by the contractors building the roads.Acts 1913 (1st E.S.), ch. 26, § 11; Shan., § 1695a33; Code 1932, § 2994; T.C.A.
