Section 55-10-208 - Uniform traffic citation form

(a) Every law enforcement officer in this state who is authorized to issue traffic citations may use a uniform traffic citation form prescribed by the department of safety.(b) The department is authorized and directed to promulgate a uniform traffic citation form which may be used exclusively by all law enforcement officers and agencies in this state in issuing citations for traffic law violations.Acts 1993, ch. 337, § 1; 1994, ch. 927, §§ 1, 2.
