(a) This part shall not be construed to limit in any way § 55-50-303 or § 55-50-502, nor to limit the power and authority of the department of safety to revoke or suspend a driver license under chapter 50 of this title.(b) The penalties imposed by this part shall be in addition to and supplemental to any other penalties imposed by law.Acts 1989, ch. 64, § 11.
