All records and information required to be kept by the dealer shall be made available for inspection by any law enforcement officer or official, and the records and information shall be kept by the dealer for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase by the dealer; provided, that no law enforcement officer or official shall use this information for any purpose other than the enforcement of law.Acts 1957, ch. 411, § 3; T.C.A., § 59-1406.
