(a) It is a Class C misdemeanor for any person to violate any of the provisions of chapters 1-6 of this title unless such violation is by chapters 1-6 of this title or other law of this state declared to be a felony.(b) Unless another penalty is in chapters 1-6 of this title or by the laws of this state provided, a violation of any of the provisions of chapters 1-6 of this title is a Class C misdemeanor.Acts 1951, ch. 70, § 93 (Williams, § 5538.193); T.C.A.
