Notwithstanding another law to the contrary, a minor who has been issued a motorcycle learner's permit and who has completed a certified motorcycle education course approved by the department may operate a motorcycle without limitations on the distance from the minor's home if the minor is accompanied by, and under the direct supervision of, a parent or legal guardian who is also operating a motorcycle and who holds a valid Class M license.Added by 2023 Tenn.
