Section 56-1-304 - Director as member of each board - Notice to director of meetings

(a) The director or the director's duly authorized representative shall be an ex officio, nonvoting member of each board attached to the department, and shall be entitled to attend all meetings of the boards.(b) Each board shall advise the director of any meetings at which official action will be taken at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the meeting, unless the director expressly waives the requirement.Acts 1978, ch. 906, § 2; modified; T.C.A., § 56-145.
