(a) This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the 'Revised Tennessee Captive Insurance Act.'(b) The purpose of this chapter is to establish the procedures for the organization and regulation of the operations of captive insurance companies within this state and thereby promote the general welfare of the people of this state.
