Section 56-29-118 - Licenses renewable annually - Agents to have certificate of authority

(a) All licenses authorizing hospital service corporations to transact business in this state shall be renewable on July 1 of each year.(b) A hospital service corporation licensed to do business in this state under this chapter shall obtain from the commissioner a certificate of authority for every agent writing or soliciting contracts for the service corporation in this state, and the certificates shall be renewable January 1 of each year.Acts 1949, ch. 234, § 15; C.
