This chapter is not to be construed as prohibiting any insurance company, properly qualified in this state to write accident or health or disability insurance, from making available any plan of dental service that may be approved by the commissioner under existing statutes or within the authority granted in this chapter, in the same manner and in the same means as granted to benevolent associations.Acts 1961, ch. 340, § 30; T.C.A., § 56-3531.
