Section 56-7-1005 - State mandated health benefits - Applicability

Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, a state mandated health benefit, as defined in § 3-2-111, that takes effect after March 24, 2016, shall apply not only to private health insurance issuers, as defined in § 3-2-111, but also any state or local insurance program, under title 8, chapter 27, and any managed care organization contracting with the state to provide insurance through the TennCare program.Added by 2016 Tenn.
