Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, if the state determines not to apply for or accept federal funding for the purposes of this part, any provisions of this part, including any eligibility requirements regarding federally defined eligible individuals as set forth in § 56-7-2908 of this part, would not be subject to nor would the state or board have to comply with any federal requirements mandated as a result of the acceptance of the federal funds.Acts 2006, ch. 867, §§ 3, 14.
