Section 56-9-405 - Institution of proceedings by commissioner upon request from officials of other states

The commissioner, in the commissioner's sole discretion, may institute proceedings under §§ 56-9-201 and 56-9-202, at the request of the commissioner or other appropriate insurance official of the domiciliary state of any foreign or alien insurer having property located in this state.Acts 1991, ch. 142, § 4.
