Section 58-1-110 - Military staff of the governor

The military staff of the governor shall consist of the adjutant general, who shall be ex officio chief of staff, the national guard officers assigned to the state headquarters, and such aides-de-camp as the governor shall deem necessary, all of whom shall be federally recognized, commissioned officers detailed by the governor from the national guard. Officers detailed pursuant to this section shall not be relieved from their ordinary duties except when actually on duty with the governor. The military staff of the governor shall perform such personal and ceremonial duties as may be required by the governor.Acts 1970, ch. 596, § 9; T.C.A., § 7-110.
