Section 58-1-114 - Military department constituted

That agency, division or department of the state government, comprising the headquarters of the military forces of the state as constituted and defined in § 58-1-104, and the emergency management agency, shall be known and is hereby designated as the military department. The adjutant general shall be the executive head of the military department and commanding general of the military forces of the state.Acts 1970, ch. 596, § 13; T.C.A., § 7-114.
