The adjutant general is authorized and empowered to maintain membership for the Tennessee national guard in the national guard association of the United States or any similar organization, and with the approval of the governor is authorized to incur the usual expenses incident to such membership, which expenses will be included in the annual budget of the military department and paid from the appropriations provided for that department.Acts 1970, ch. 596, § 86; T.C.A., § 7-150.
