Section 58-1-616 - Assaulting or willfully disobeying superior commissioned officer

Any member of the national guard who:(1) Strikes the guard member's superior commissioned officer or draws or lifts up any weapon or offers any violence against that officer while in the execution of the officer's duty; or(2) Willfully disobeys a lawful command of the guard member's superior commissioned officer; is guilty of a Class C misdemeanor.Acts 1970, ch. 596, § 60; T.C.A., § 7-316; Acts 1989, ch. 591, § 113.
