Section 58-2-302 - Continuation or resumption of business during state of emergency

During the existence of a state of emergency declared pursuant to this chapter, a business entity may continue or resume its business if the business entity complies with safety precautions and guidelines issued by the governor, state department or agency, or a county or municipal governing body or agency acting in accordance with this chapter, or any executive order, proclamation, or rule issued pursuant to this chapter, to prevent a threat to the public caused by a pandemic, epidemic, or bioterrorism event, or the appearance of a novel or previously controlled or eradicated infectious agent or biological toxin.Added by 2021 Tenn.
