Section 58-2-401 - Authority for compact

The governor is hereby authorized in the name of the state of Tennessee to enter into civil defense and disaster compacts with the several states, and to enter into an emergency management assistance compact by and between participating states, in order to provide mutual aid among the contracting states in meeting any emergency or disaster from enemy attack, sabotage or other hostile action.Acts 1951, ch. 160, § 1 (Williams, § 5755.56); T.C.A.
