The department of veterans services shall provide training in suicide prevention to the employees of the department who directly interact with veterans. The training provided pursuant to this section must equip employees with the ability to recognize the warning signs of a potential suicide. The department may utilize resources from nonprofit organizations to provide the training required by this section.Acts 2020, ch. 531, § 1.
