Section 59-13-102 - Legislative intent

In order to promote, foster and encourage the intelligent and orderly marketing of Tennessee coal through cooperation; and to eliminate speculation and waste; and to make the distribution of coal between producer and consumer as direct as can be efficiently done; and to stabilize the marketing of coal and coal products; and to provide for the organization and incorporation of cooperative marketing associations for the marketing of such products, this chapter is enacted.Acts 1984, ch. 864, § 2.
