Section 59-8-104 - Severability

If any provision of this part or the application of any provision of this part to any person or circumstance is held invalid, the invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the part that can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to that end, the provisions of this part are declared to be severable.Repealed and reenacted by 2021 Tenn. Acts, ch. 548, s 3, eff. 5/26/2021.Added by 2018 Tenn. Acts, ch. 839, s 1, eff. eight (8) months immediately following the receipt of notification from the secretary of the interior that this state has been approved to exercise primacy over the regulation of surface coal mining and reclamation operations within its territorial boundaries.
