Section 6-20-108 - Improper solicitation of political support

No candidate for any office nor any other person shall, directly or indirectly, give or promise any person or persons any office, employment, money, benefit, or anything of value for the purpose of influencing or obtaining political support, aid, or vote for any candidate. Any person violating this section shall be punished by fine of not more than fifty dollars ($50.00) for each offense.Acts 1921, ch. 173, art. 22, § 4; Shan.
