Section 6-20-202 - Appointment of vice mayor

At the first meeting of the board, and thereafter at the first meeting after a general city election, the board shall choose from its membership a member to act in the absence, inability, or failure to act of the mayor.Acts 1921, ch. 173, art. 4, § 9; Shan.
