Section 6-1-503 - Effect on civil liability

Any change in the name of any municipality under this part shall have no effect whatever on any obligations or liabilities of the municipality, in contract, tort, or otherwise, all of which shall remain the same as prior to the name change.Acts 2000, ch. 702, § 1.
