Section 6-36-118 - Agreement with county to take over county schools

The city council, after considering the written recommendations of the board of education, may enter into an agreement with the county for the city school system to take over ownership, management and control of that part of the county school system within the city, including land, buildings and all other school property, equipment, and facilities.Acts 1957, ch. 238, § 8.18; T.C.A., § 6-3618.
