The Tennessee advisory commission on intergovernmental relations (TACIR) shall monitor implementation of this chapter and shall periodically report its findings and recommendations to the general assembly. Each agency of the executive branch, each municipal and county official, each local government organization, including any planning commission and development district, shall cooperate with the commission and provide necessary information and assistance for the commission's reports. TACIR reserve funds may be expended for the purpose of performing duties assigned by this section.Acts 1998, ch. 1101, § 14; 2002, ch. 594, § 1.
