(a) It is an offense for any person required by this chapter to be chartered or licensed to engage in commercial pest control activities to knowingly engage in commercial pest control activities without first obtaining the required charter or license.(b) Violation of subsection (a) is a Class A misdemeanor.(c) Each custom application of pesticides without the required charter or license constitutes a separate offense.(d) Persons convicted under subsection (a) are ineligible to obtain a charter or license to engage in commercial pest control activities for a period of one (1) year from the date of the person's conviction of the offense.Acts 1978, ch. 844, § 20; T.C.A., § 62-2120; Acts 1989, ch. 591, § 113; 1994, ch. 960, § 13; 2001, ch. 105, § 3.
