Section 62-39-330 - Employing or retaining an appraiser as disinterested third party or for specialized services

A client or employer may retain or employ a state licensed or certified real estate appraiser to act as a disinterested third party in rendering an unbiased estimate of value or analysis. A client or employer may also retain or employ a state licensed or certified real estate appraiser to provide specialized services to facilitate the client's or employer's objectives. In either case, the appraisal and the appraisal report must be prepared in compliance with this chapter.Acts 1990, ch. 865, § 39; 1991, ch. 366, § 40.
