Section 62-76-201 - Part definitions

As used in this part:(1) 'Apprenticeship' means a program that: (A) Meets the federal guidelines set out in 29 CFR Part 29 and 29 U.S.C. § 50; and(B) Complies with this part and the guidelines established pursuant to § 62-76-202;(2) 'Licensing authority' means any state agency with the authority to impose training, education, or licensure fees to practice in a profession; and(3) 'State agency' means a state board, agency, or commission attached to the division of regulatory boards, as listed in § 4-3-1304(a).Amended by 2018 Tenn.
