Section 63-1-111 - Retirement

(a) Any person licensed to practice the healing arts or any branch thereof in this state who has retired or may hereafter retire from such practice shall not be required to register as required by this chapter.(b) Such person shall file with the division an affidavit on a form to be furnished by the division, which affidavit shall state the date on which the person retired from such practice and such other facts as shall tend to verify such retirement as the division shall deem necessary.(c) Any such person who thereafter reengages in the practice of the healing arts or any branch thereof shall register with the division as provided by this chapter.Acts 1947, ch. 9, § 7; C.
