Psychologists, senior psychological examiners and psychological examiners are not required to notify patients that were treated by them at community mental health centers, as defined in § 33-1-101, of their departure from such community mental health centers. Patient records shall remain with the community mental health centers. The transfer of patients' records shall be in compliance with standards set by state and federal law.Acts 2005, ch. 53, § 1.
