Section 63-14-105 - License not required for employees

Nothing contained in this chapter shall be construed so as to require an employee of a licensed physician or licensed optometrist to secure a license under this chapter or otherwise be subject to this chapter, so long as the employee remains an employee of the licensed physician or the licensed optometrist entitled to practice that profession within this state. Nothing contained in this chapter shall be construed to prohibit a licensed physician or licensed optometrist from employing a licensed dispensing optician as defined in this chapter.Acts 1955, ch. 98, § 5; T.C.A., § 63-1405.
