The commissioner is authorized and empowered to petition any circuit or chancery court having jurisdiction to enjoin any person who is practicing or attempting to practice electrology without possessing a valid license to practice, and to enjoin any person, firm or corporation from performing any act or rendering any service that constitutes the practice of electrology.Acts 1988, ch. 896, § 27; 1993, ch. 342, § 1; T.C.A., §62-34-225; Acts 2009 , ch. 456, § 33.
